Rewards & Points Policy

Who issues a reward

Each business decides and funds its own disclosed reward offer. Rewards shown for one store belong to that store’s customer relationship; they are not a universal AsliWali balance or a promise by another store. AsliWali records the applicable activity and helps resolve platform errors. A store must not advertise a reward it cannot honour.

Loyalty points and purchase reward credit are different

Loyalty points are whole-number units recorded by the business. They have no automatic rupee conversion and are not cash, a bank balance or transferable money. The store must explain any redemption benefit before offering it. Purchase reward credit is a separate balance displayed in rupees, earned at the applicable purchase reward rate and usable for eligible purchases with the issuing business. It is not a cash-withdrawal or payment account.

How purchase reward credit is earned

Reward credit is calculated on eligible recorded payments using the rate captured for that purchase. Unpaid invoice amounts do not earn credit. Later recorded payments can earn credit; returned/cancelled amounts can reduce it. The business must disclose exclusions, rounding, reward rate and redemption restrictions. A displayed reward rate does not mean loyalty points have the same conversion rate.

Visits and points adjustments

A check-in records a visit. It does not by itself promise points, money or a reward unless the store has explicitly offered it. Businesses can add or remove points with a recorded reason to reflect an offer, correction or reversal. The platform prevents an adjustment from overdrawing the recorded point balance. A business must not remove legitimate earned benefits arbitrarily or use an adjustment to avoid a refund it owes.

Redemption and limits

Confirm the available balance and the store’s eligible items, limits and benefit before purchase. Credit cannot be redeemed across unrelated businesses or transferred between customers through the current system. A pending or disputed adjustment is not a guaranteed available reward. We do not promise that an invoice will be payable entirely with points or reward credit.

Returns, cancellations and mistakes

The reward attributable to a reversed purchase may be reversed as well. Recorded redemption can be restored according to the return calculation. If a customer has already used an affected reward, the business should explain the reconciliation and must not secretly charge a card or deny mandatory remedies. Duplicate or fraudulent entries can be corrected with a recorded reason. Report a missing purchase, incorrect balance or unexplained change with its reference.

Expiry and programme changes

The current platform does not automatically expire points or purchase reward credit. Businesses must not advertise an automatic expiry unless it is implemented and clearly disclosed before earning. Any future expiry, conversion or programme change requires advance disclosure and must respect existing earned benefits and law. No new expiry is imposed retrospectively by this policy.

Misuse, closure and complaints

Do not create false visits or purchases, duplicate identities or collusive transactions to earn rewards. Suspected misuse may be investigated with proportionate restrictions and a route to challenge errors. Business or account closure does not turn rewards into cash or remove statutory claims. First ask the issuing business to explain a balance; contact info@asliwali.com for platform problems or an unresolved record discrepancy.

Record visibility and corrections

Customers should be able to inspect their business-specific reward and purchase records and ask the issuing business to explain a change. A corrected invoice, refund or point adjustment should identify its reason in the recorded history. Do not use private customer data or location records to publicly embarrass someone over a reward dispute. Support may request the transaction reference to investigate an error, not the customer’s password or OTP.
